Choose your print specification and place an order
Understand the configurator, job totals, production choices and artwork steps.
Guide source reviewed for PressFlow 1.25.1.
Choose the product you want to print, then use its configurator to set the specification. The options depend on the product: size, material, printed sides, finishing, dimensions, copies and production speed may all affect its price.
Place a print order
- Open the product and work through its option groups. Check the selected choices even when the shop has supplied defaults.
- Choose your copies and production date/speed. Where a price matrix is available, selecting a cell chooses that quantity and production option together.
- Review the order summary and Total job price. This covers the complete selected print run. A per-copy figure is a comparison, not an additional charge.
- Add artwork now if available, or use the shop's supported later-upload option. A transfer link can be used where offered.
- Add the print job to the basket. Check its specification and the artwork status in the basket item.
- Complete WooCommerce checkout, including your address, shipping or collection choice and payment.
Shipping is calculated at checkout. A product-page production date is an estimate; production depends on payment, usable artwork and any required approval. Check the shop's conditions if you have a fixed deadline.
A job is a complete print run
A job containing 500 business cards is one basket item with 500 copies in its specification. If you want a second design or another specification, add or duplicate a separate job. Do not treat the ordinary basket quantity as the number of printed copies.
When options change
The price and availability are refreshed for your current choices. An incompatible choice may be unavailable or require another option to change. Wait for the current price to finish updating before adding the job. If the shop has updated its setup, reopen and review the specification rather than relying on an older saved price.
If you use the site's VAT toggle, it changes the visible tax basis. It does not change your print choices or the amount of tax calculated at checkout.
Quote-only products
Some products need a staff quote instead of an immediate online price. Complete the specification and submit the quote request. Sending a request is not a purchase or production booking. The shop will prepare an offer for you to review.
