Choose complete-job, quantity, option, area, size-band or quote pricing with the correct units.

Enter selling prices in the store currency and the WooCommerce price-entry tax basis stated in the editor. These are selling prices, not a materials-cost or margin calculator.
| Method shown in the editor | Base price means | Useful for |
|---|---|---|
| Set price | A fixed base amount for one complete configured job. | A package with a known base price plus extras. |
| Price by quantity | Complete-job base price for each listed copy quantity. | Cards and leaflets sold in runs. |
| Price by print options | Complete-job base price selected by quantity and matching options. | Stocks, sizes, sides or speed choices with separate price lists. |
| Custom-size printing — area rate | Rate × charged area per copy × copies, with a job minimum and setup. | Banners or signs sold by square metre. |
| Custom-size printing — size bands | A matching size-band amount per copy × copies, with a job minimum and setup. | Panels or displays with bracketed sizes. |
| Request a quote | A specification for review, with no automatically purchasable price. | Bespoke jobs requiring a printer's assessment. |
Decide on the simplest usable method
If you already have prices for 100, 250 and 500 cards, use quantity pricing. If each stock and production speed has different prices, use print-option pricing with shared or specific rows. If you charge for customer-entered dimensions, choose area rates or size bands.
The quantity/date matrix is available for quantity and print-option pricing with preset quantities and a required production choice. It is not a general calendar picker for every pricing method.
Avoid three common mistakes
First, a quantity-row price is for the full run. Entering a per-card price there makes the complete job too cheap. Second, Per copy extras multiply by the print copies, not by the basket line quantity. Third, a fixed bulk adjustment changes stored entries in their units; it is not necessarily an increase once on the finished job.
Set price also remains a job amount. If the fixed base stays the same at different copy counts, the base is not multiplied automatically; check whether that matches the package you are selling.
Quote fallback
Where offered, allowing quote requests lets customers enquire about valid unpriced specifications. Decide deliberately whether a missing price should lead to a quote or be corrected before launch. Quote-only products keep quote labels and cannot be made buyable with a nominal WooCommerce regular price.
Use quantity and option tables, custom-size pricing and charges and extras for entry examples.
